The Belgian demo will be constructed near Brussels at Green Energy Park, a living lab where innovations can be tested and optimized in a realistic environment.
A prefabricated approach will be followed as all the demo’s elements will be manufactured off-site and assembled on fixed foundations onsite.
An open-source construction philosophy will allow the targeted deconstruction and replacement of building components.
The building will be initially realised with the best available components, which will be gradually replaced by the materials with better circularity performance.
