The way we design, build and demolish is one of the biggest drivers of resource use and waste in Europe.
Construction and demolition waste (CDW) is among the largest waste streams on the continent, yet most of it never finds a second life. Turning that around is not only a technical challenge, it depends on the knowledge, the day-to-day experience and the expectations of the people who make the sector work: architects, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, public authorities, waste managers and the communities living with the results.
That is exactly where we need your input!
Building regional roadmaps, together
As part of the Horizon Europe project RECONSTRUCT, we are developing regional roadmaps to accelerate the transition towards more circular construction ecosystems. These roadmaps are being shaped around the project’s two demonstration regions in Brussels and Barcelona with the aim of producing practical policy recommendations at regional, national and European level.
For these roadmaps to reflect the realities, needs, opportunities and challenges of key actors across the construction value chain, they have to be grounded in the perspectives of the people working in it. So we are opening a short questionnaire to gather them.

What the survey is for
The survey assesses the current level of knowledge, experience and expectations regarding circular construction practices, policies and innovation. Your answers will help us identify the priorities, barriers and enabling factors that can support effective regional strategies and policy recommendations.

- All responses are treated confidentially and analysed in aggregate form.
