Tale from two successful exchanges
The launch events for the Barcelona and Brussels hubs have now taken place. Here’s what happened.
Barcelona
The meeting started early in the morning at the ITeC premises.
The agenda unfoled as follows:
- Welcome and HUB presentation
- Digital Reconstruct Ecosystem and Building Material Passport webinar
- Workshop: Circularity Impact Assessement
- Networking break
- Workshop: Establishing the Dynamic Learning Agenda
- Next events in the HUB and closure
Participation was high, and the feedback collected immediately afterwards was very positive. ‘How to achieve and measure circularity’ was a valuable topic for discussion, and new working sessions with participants are expected in the future.
Brussels
The meeting in Brussels was also sharp at 9 am, hosted by Embuild, the Belgian Construction Association.
The agenda was similar, but also included two extra presentations: one by Jeroen Vrijders, a construction expert from Buildwise, and the other by Lionel Bousquet, founder of the architecture firm BXLMRS:
- Welcome and project presentation
- Context: Digitalisation and the European roadmap to net zero emissions
- The Reconstruct Proposition: A new digital Ecosystem for circular (de)construction.
- Workshop: Circularity Impact Assessment
- Networking break
- Energy-efficient Circular and Digital renovation
- Workshop: Establishing the Dynamic Learning Agenda
- Outlook and closure
As in Barcelona, participants were satisfied with the outcome of the event, and said were looking forward to the future developments.
