RECONSTRUCT project partner Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM) attended the 2025 IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for Industry 4.0 & IoT (MetroInd 2025).
On 3 July, partner Dr. Maria Teresa Calcagni presented a paper entitled ‘Spectra Signature Assessment in Relation to CDWs Quality Using Hyperscetral Imaging in VIS-NIR Range‘ as part of the activities developed within the RECONSTRUCT project framework.
The presentation showcased the Characteristic Spectral Signature method for characterising materials and contaminants. The research demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed methodology in differentiating between contaminated and uncontaminated materials, with the ultimate goal of promoting the reuse and recycling of uncontaminated materials in the construction industry, thereby reducing emissions and enhancing circularity.
